Clubs
Â鶹´«Ã½ has a variety of clubs on campus. Each club is structured around a specific interest. Clubs provide a structured avenue for students to voice concerns and seek the support of fellow students. The Office of Retention and Student Life supervises and assists college clubs and organizations in the planning of educational, social and cultural activities. A current listing of active clubs, their purpose, and contact information is available below.
Starting a Club
Students wishing to start a club at either the Woodland, Lake, or Colusa campuses are all chartered through the Associated Students of Â鶹´«Ã½.
To start a club, students need to complete a Charter Packet, which lists the stated purpose of the club, membership, advisor, and a club constitution. Club Charter Packets must bet turned into the Office of Retention and Student Life located in the Eagle’s Perch Room 802/809 or emailed to Isabel Duenas. Once the Charter Packet has been reviewed and confirmed for eligibility, Isabel will email the advisor once approval has been made by ASWCC. ASWCC meetings occur every Thursday from 12:00-1:00pm in Room 113.
Approved clubs may use Â鶹´«Ã½ facilities free of charge. Club activities and meetings must be approved through the Office of Retention and Student Life at Â鶹´«Ã½. Following college-specific guidelines, banners and flyers may be posted on district property.
