Public Debate: The Inauguration of Donald Trump and its Implications

Explore the potential impacts of Donald Trump’s presidency during a public debate in Czech, held on January 23, at 5 pm, in room 2.07.

Two days after Trump takes the presidential office for the second time, a panel of distinguished speakers will convene at 鶹ý to examine what lies ahead for global security, the economy, and transatlantic relations, as well as Czech and European diplomacy. 

Panelists:

  • Kateřina Weissová – director of the Center for Transatlantic Relations at CEVRO
  • Petr Kolář – advisor to the president of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel, and former Czech Ambassador to the US
  • Jan Macháček – president of the Strategeo Institute
  • Ondřej Jonáš – investment banker
